Stefano Abbadessa Mercanti
Architect. After several years of collaboration with the 'La Sapienza'
University of Rome, he works as an architectonic designer, internal
designer and graphic publicity. He is responsible for AM STUDIO ROMA.
His activity is spread in different fields; from the building trade
to the illustration, from photography to creative compositions.
He has completed different projects, principally in Italy in private
habitations and commercial. At the moment 'Commissioner of the
Regional Committee of Telecommunications' in region Lazio.
Diego Angeloni
Architect and interior designer. He works as a designer in
AM STUDIO ROMA. He graduated at University of Rome La
Sapienza and has been the winner of several grants.
Keen on archaeology, he has attended specialization courses
transferring this information to his activity of designer, the
sensibility and respect of the pre-existence and love for
the evolutions of architectonic type.
Angelo Bonelli
Born in 1962. His political
and ecologist career began in with the Association of the
Environment and later with the 'Verde'. He was elected in
1990 as the Town councillor for Ostia.
In 1993 he was elected for the City of Rome but chooses the
Presidency of the Area, assignment that he holds since 93/94.
He was the Regional Councillor for Lazio (Italy) and Councillor
for the environment and collaborator between the people of
the Lazio Region (Italy).
He is also a deputy of the National Federation of the 'Verde party'.
Fabio Depino
Deep cognitive of the roman territory, environmentalist
and a studious of ancient history. He is an exponent
of WWF and at the moment is co-ordinator of the Territorial
Community of 10th. Municipal City Hall of Rome.
Manuela Fine
Gradueted in Languages at the university of Rome, Tor
Vergata, she discussed a thesis about the relation between
the Cubism of Picasso and the avant-garde poetry of
Guillaume Apollinaire. She is passionately interested
in modern art, cinema, litterature and voyages.
Now she is a subeditor of Sguardi.info.
Moreover she cooperates with a agency of marketing services
as an interpreter and traslater and she takes part
in cultural exchanges between Italy and Denmark.
She has also studied photography for few months.
Laura Leone
Graduated in the Faculty of Architecture at the University
of Studies Rome 'La Sapienza'. After having lived and worked
in Singapore with Architects 61, being responsible for
shopping centres and Housing Development, she transferred
to London where she is currently working for Ashen & Dyer,
and responsible for the Healthcare.
Bianca Lerza
Graduated in architecture at 'La Sapienza', University of Rome,
she has collaborated with the Ministry of Tourism and Eures in
order to create an easy accessible network for the handicapped.
Collaborator and organizer of cultural itineraries and architecture
and art history courses for the Comune di Roma, Enel, Abbott,
Fai and other cultural associations and travel agencies.
For tree years she has been living in Paris, working at first in
the Architecture Studio, and later Soprema, where she is
responsible for Design.
For six months she has been responsible for projects of
Italian artists at the XV Biennale of Paris 2006.
Giammaria Maffi
Architect, passionate in the critics of architecture and
contemporary art. He is involved with art and digital
architecture, informatics/information science of
architectonic models. He has participated on various
workshops regarding preparation/ fittings, the lighting
design and on the figure for the administrator of exhibitions.
He cultivates a passion for photography and the Japanese language.
Igor Mariottini
Was born in 1980, in Rome. Graduated in DAMS (Disciplines
of Arts Music and Show business) at the University of Roma
Tre with a thesis in History and Critic of Cinema entitled
"Andrei Rublev, formal analysis of the movie".He is a
subeditor of Sguardi.info and contributer to Cinemavvenire,
The Italian portal about cinema, with which he pubblished
essays on Luis Buñuel e Andrej Tarkovskij.
Francesca Mattogno
Architect and researcher. Graduated at 'La Sapienza', University of Rome,
with a thesis on "Survey and Representing of the cultural heritage", in which
field she has a PhD.
Over the years in the university, she has collaborated on research,
given lessons, organized exhibitions and workshops, etc.
She is also expert in the latest 3D laser scanning techniques, and in
the use of multimedia communications for representing the cultural heritage;
Carries out her activity combining the own aspects of restoration's and
conservation's discipline with those of architectonic and landscape's design,
information technology and communication.
Danilo Mercanti
Expert in the History of the Religion of the Near
Ancient Orient. Exponent of the Community of Saint
Egidio, he is busy in the promotion of the dialogue
of inter-religion and the process of peace in the world.
Gianfranco Mingozzi
Born in Bologna where he graduated in Law.
In Rome he attended a course in production at C.S.C
(experimental centre of cinema) and is the production
assistant of Federico Fellini (La Dolce vita / Boccaccio '70).
In 1964 he spent a long period working at the National
Office of Film (NFB) in Canada. Screen writer and director,
documentary film maker, author of investigations for TV.
He made his debut with the documentary.
Giuliano Montaldo
Was born in 1930, in Genoa, after taking part in some
films as an actor, he works as an assistant director of
Gillo Pontecorvo in The Big Blue Way (1957) Kapò (1960)
and The Battle of Algiers (1966). With Sacco and Vanzetti,
winning Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival in 1971, he gains
an international success. In the Nineties' he directs short
cut (1990), Ci sarà una volta (1992) e Le Stagioni delle
aquile (1997). Montaldo is the artistic director of
important cinematographic competitions and festivals.
Alan Brealey Pinniger
Writer and cinematographic organiser. He has written many
theatrical texts represented in Great Britain and in the USA,
the author of some essays regarding the history of Naples
where he has been living since 1991.
Rosanna Soldati
Swiss teacher keen on the countries in the southern world.
Grand traveller capable of capturing, through the lens
objective of her camera, moments of the ordinary life
of the populations that she encounters during her travels.
William James Travis
Formerly professor of art history at the University of
Michigan, William Travis earned his Ph.D. at New York
University's Institute of Fine Arts. He has published
numerous articles in scholarly journals, both in Europe
and the United States, and is now pursuing
a career in fine art photography.
