RICHARD SERRA

Born in San Francisco in 1939, he is recognised by international critics as one of today's most innovative and important sculptor.

In the last few years, he has experimented creating in plastic elliptical, twisted and curved spiralling forms which create a winding corridor accessible to the public. Inside this one loses a normal perception of space and of time and one walks in a new, disconcerting world which arouses unique and intimate sensations contrasting with the ambience in which the work is exhibited.
