Ennio Tamburi lives in Rome and Zurich.
He took part in the most significant art tendencies starting with informal, then objectual and conceptual art. At that time belong the metal and neon- light sculptures, and metal spots. The recent research concerns the study of contrasting forces, generating motion and energy.

He realized scenographies for Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and for the ballets "Lament" and "Reflect" with Nicolas Mussin's coreography, Salic Gamier, Monte-Carlo.1994 and for "L'apres-midi d'un faune" by Introdans, Arnhem 1997. He has also worked together with Luchino Visconti for "Senso" and "Death in Venice" and with Roman Polansky. He drew posters for Giorgio Strehler and Luca Ronconi.
